Billboards and Graffiti

"Many young people don't take the time to appreciate the beauty of nature when it comes to their environment," wrote photo camp participant Jocelyn Ortiz. "I think all they see is a bad neighborhood and bad buildings and such, but they don't see the potential that their community holds if they just clean it up: plant trees, plant flowers, clean up the parks. Young people ... spend so much time [trying] to replace things instead of spending time to fix the things they have."
