Fishing Net, Alexandria, Egypt, 1990

"[A fisherman fixes his net in Alexandria, Egypt.] Years ago fishermen enjoyed big hauls near the two main mouths of the Nile. Today, with the river delivering so few nutrients and so much pollution, the fish have gone farther out to sea. So too have the fishermen."
