Flying Boat, Ontario, Canada, 1926

In the 1920s Royal Canadian Air Force fire patrol units used flying boats to observe millions of acres of Canadian forest. This Ontario Forestry Service flying boat lent itself to daily aerial observation during fire-hazard season.
