Girl Against a Painted Wall

Photo: Girl against a painted wall

Photo camp student Daisy Bermudez chose an elaborately painted wall as the backdrop for this self-portrait.

"I really enjoy nature," wrote photographer Daisy Bermudez. "It gives the world a sense of beauty. It helps us escape from the problems we have to face in our homes. If we had to live in a world with no nature, I would die. I would starve. ... It would look like ground zero."
