"To tell the story of a country through images, I have to put myself in the place of those who live there. At the same time I must keep a necessary distance to observe objectively. During an assignment on the countries surrounding the Caspian Sea, I got interested in the Akal-Teke horses. They symbolize the pride of the Turkmen people."
