While visiting a wildlife park in Shubenacadie, Nova Scotia, I came across an enclosure with raccoons. They weren't very lively little fellows and were mainly just hanging on their play equipment, napping and being lazy. I spotted this one hanging out on a climbing contraption and was moved by the sad expression in his eyes. He looks so much like he wishes he could be somewhere else. It changed my opinion on wildlife parks, zoos and other places that keep animals confined. I wish I could have set him free.
