Marshmallow Farm

Category: Nature

Photo and caption by Ken Bower

I patiently waited until the warm light from the midnight sun illuminated the face of the mountain. The large hay bales provide a sense of scale and almost appear as marshmallows dotting the foreground. The hay bales are covered in plastic to prevent them from becoming wet, which would then freeze into a block of ice when the cold weather returns and become unusable.
