Little Vietnamese Girl

Sometimes one travels just to capture one shot that is worth it all and looking back at the photograph each time, the memory of that moment comes back. It was late afternoon. I was getting ready to get on a boat for a cruise on the Mekong which would prove to be an unforgettable experience. From the corner of my eye, I saw the little girl in pink staring at me from the door of her house hidden in between trees. She looked like she had just waken up. Her grandfather was smiling at me. She was staring at me trying to figure out who I was. I was a stranger passing by in this beautiful country.
