Buffalo in the mist

Last summer, I visited Yellowstone Park. I went there especially to see the geysers and to have close encounters with wild life. One morning, I woke up before daylight and as I was crossing Hayden Valley, the sunrise made yellow rays coloring the river beautifully. Then came this majestic buffalo peacefully grazing, not minding my presence at all. I never thought that I would be lucky enough to see a buffalo from so close.

Location: Yellowstone park, Wyoming, USA
