Photo and caption by Richard Young

A black rhino, appearing like a ghost in the night-time landscape, poaching for there valuable horns is pushing this species towards brink of extinction with only 4880 now left in the wild. If more is not done to save them, they really could all just become ghosts. Taken in Namibia's, Etosha National Park, which luckily remains one of there few last strongholds. Captured on a panned exposure of 2 seconds lit by artificial lights.

Location: Etosha National Park, Namibia
