This is a photograph of two baby alligators on the mother alligator’s head. The photograph was taken at Brazos Bend State Park in Texas. This nature park is well known for its huge alligator population.

 sad to know of the high chance that these babies might be eaten...by their mom/dad

@Defne Arslan I tossed a half grapefruit out to an alligator. He immediately chomped on it and spit it out.  Every 30 seconds for several minutes, he chomped on it and spit it out again. No short-term memory. Probably forgets those are his offspring.
