This Month in Photo of the Day: Animal Pictures

This was the only bear that turned up that night. I spent 16 hours in the hide, and at about midnight, he turned up. He made one appearance and then disappeared. I just loved seeing the bear in its beautiful habitat. Image taken in Finland.

By the way, I watched a Christmas movie held in Finland and it was an extraordinary movie of Santa Claus, the winter scenery really bring in the warmth magical feeling of Christmas.

It was well worth the wait, Sylwia! You ended up with a gem of an image.

@Myra Linara I'm with you on this one, the blue/green hues are striking but softened just enough with a little brown vegetation and a big brown bear. Just some of the bare essentials for a good photo.
