A young cheetah mother named Etta by researchers scans the Serengeti for signs of danger while her four 12-week-old cubs wrestle. A long-running study has found that the majority of cubs here are raised by a small group of cheetah supermoms.

what a picture !  really depicts the rampant and carefreeness of youth in contrast to the tenseness of the mother on guard.

also enjoy the link which allows one to have more background on the nat geo photographers when they are featured.

This is a great picture, but surely there are other "animal" photos that NG has that they don't have to repeat cheetah pictures. We just had one earlier this month.
