This beautiful photo remind me something.
I lived in a small village with a population of about 2,000 when i was young. What was most impressed to me was the monkey performance. Normally, there were one or three monkeys making lots of performance such as going through a flaming loop or turning somersault. There was hardly any entertainment in my village. The monkey performance brought a lot of fun to me.To me, it was circus performance. I will never forget it.
. Seems the hula hoop lives on with circus artists making it part of their act. A truly well composed shot literally spotlighted to give the impact that it does.Great picture.
I am all for NO animals being used in a circus. This performer has a choice what she wants to do, and does it so well.As to the animals,well.......... j.e.s......
I love how the lighting highlights the tension in her shoulders; what looks effortless certainly isn't.
Wonderful composition and focus! I think a brief exposure shot showing the hoops as a blur would also have been neat.
