Dolphin Games

Photograph by Brodie McCabe

"These two dolphins were playing out in the deeper ocean for some time," writes Brodie McCabe, who captured this picture at Point Danger in Tweed Heads, Australia. "As a set of waves came through, they followed the swell toward the shore, racing each other for the key position. As the wave started breaking, one pulled off the back so as not to 'drop in' on the other."

Beautiful. At first it looked light the water was sand at the top because of the light.

Marvelous seeing the dolphins having some fun.             Beautiful shot, once again of nature providing it's own story.       Thanks for sharing this Brodie McCabe.

Just met a great guy in the pub last night with a nice new facial scar from a surfer dropping in on him. Dolphins don't even have dangerous boards but they have more sense than to drop in on each other.  Beautiful shot!

The one on the bottom is definitely a shark. Look at the fins.

Me,a friend and the great big ocean! What a blast, and what a picture. Truly a wonderful shot for all of us to enjoy. The demarcation line of the wave breaking,in a lovely greeny blue color, with the seemingly calm ocean above, and working down to the silvery bottom at the right.  Well I say, wow..... j.e.s..........

Editing needed: "where" refers to place; "were" is the verb needed in the first line.  Otherwise, great pic.

@Nyle Anderson I don't think so. The water is distorting the image. The photographer said he saw them playing for a long time so it's probably two dolphins.  Either way, great shot.
