Now I know the terrible things that are happening in Africa, most times when I see a beautiful picture I wonder if the animals know they are in danger and if they are afraid. The hunters call it conservation, most people would think it was anything but, and more like murder, mayhem and destruction.
What a beautiful shot of one of the most wonderful animals on earth. They are truly intelligent creatures who have many emotions like us and feel sadness, happiness and kindness. Thank you Ben Neale for this lovely photograph!
No helicopters. Thanks for the share, this was was the behind the scenes.

Yes, it's beaytyful shot... the light, movenet,colors... Really nice! Just, I think, "The13" are not very lucky in this momento... They are more scared of helicopter tan lucky :))) But the photo is fantastic!
They are so magnificent, intelligent and beautiful , I hope we always have them. I can't imagine how anyone would want to kill them (or any animal) for a thrill, trophy or their tusks. Hopefully humanity's consciousness will rise above this.
A bakers dozen of elephants! My most favourite animal of all. And I too pray that the senseless killing of these and other animals would stop. Shoot them with cameras all you want ,but please dont kill them.A spectacular shot from above that we all can enjoy. j.e.s.......
What lovely elephants - great shot! My most fervent prayer is that these magnificent creatures continue to live free of poaching.
Where's that damn cheerleader when we need her, These animals need some "conservation". They look way over populated.
A fascinating photo!! There's something about it that is so raw yet so elegant at the same time. I love it!!!!
Absolutely full of light, color and wonder and what a spectacular pov. Such a wonderful capture and composition and the presentation so well done. Congrats and cheers.
