Sorry to see that the soup in the pot looks like the river water, except for whatever is floating on top. Would like to have known what the complete recipe ingredients were.

Ferry, Myanmar
Photograph by Clementine Crey, Your Shot
This Month in Photo of the Day: Your Photos
This photo was taken on the ferry that goes to Mrauk U, a small village in eastern Myanmar (Burma). Using a slow boat is the only way to reach the ancient Burmese capital. What Makes This a Photo of the Day? I love photographs that give me the opportunity to put visual clues together to get a sense of a culture. The overhead angle allows me to really see what this man’s work is about, including the ingredients he’s working with. And the composition of the round bowls is also appealing. —Alexa Keefe, Photo of the Day editor
