Such a great photograph. It took me back to my childhood dreams;how much I loved horses and how much carousels sounded so real to me!!!
I'm proud of you uncle.
what a perfect glimpse and split timing shot! something which is timeless and carefree... i think this is something which is synomous with a world of innocence.. and looking at this picture captures exactly the look in my mothers eyes (at 83) when she sees a merry go round, and one can see her , going back in time with the gaze in her eyes
every thing in this photo is just so joyful the girl in motion holding the horse so much and the colors.love the joy it brings :)
Just Love this! The color, the joy, the fun, the flowing hair and carefree time!...And The Painted Ponies! I remember!!!
This is a real, feel good photo. She's so happy, having soooo much fun. I can't help but smile when I look at it, even though there is a little sadness that my childhood is a lost world. Thanks for the look back Mahdi.
And the seasons, they go round and round,
and the painted pony's go up and down
we can't go back, we can only look
behind from where we came,
and go round and round and round
in the circle game.
@Flora Sangreal Thank You Dear Reihaneh
@ABHIJIT DUTT how true!!! something that is ageless!
@Cedar Waxwing i don't know why... but somehow seeing cedar waxwing back as cedar Waxwing, makes it seem like all is well with the world,.,, even if popes can abdicate... :-) at least cedar wax wing is back :-)
@Cedar Waxwing oh yes we can't go back.just want to say Hi C.W.
@Cedar Waxwing "Sixteen years and sixteen summers gone now. Cartwheels change to car wheels through the town. You tell them take your time it won't be long now, til you drag your feet to slow those circles down?" One of my favorite songs! Very appropriate for this great image!
@water bird @Cedar Waxwing Hey water bird, thank you, it feels better being Cedar Waxwing. Barney Blasterson just didn't fit right. I did modify it a little from cedarwaxwing to the correct spelling Cedar Waxwing, for it fits the format of first and last names of the membership thingy.
I trust all is well.
