This Month in Photo of the Day: Animal Pictures
Icelandic horses gathered on top of this hill within their paddock beneath this stunning cloud formation. The combination seemed positively heavenly. This photo was taken at the breeding farm in northern Iceland called Ibisholl.

At first, I just loved the image! And then, when I saw the dog, I loved the image, more. Where there is a herd, there is often a herding dog, and I see that this is taken on a breeding farm & the image is just perfect!
@Memographer Alex Kay Beautiful vista. I would trim off the right side a little to remove the intruder without affecting the rest ;-)

The dog is a integral part of the landscape and photo. Far from an intruder, the dog is a resident.

Nice composition, nice angle.
I could almost feel the peaceful atmosphere, relaxed and unhurried.
(Somehow my eye is always drawn to that dog on the far right)
