Pyrgos Skies

Photograph by Laetitia Guichard, National Geographic Your Shot

A long exposure captures cloud movement over the coastal Greek village of Pyrgos. "The sky was perfect for this sort of treatment," says Your Shot member Laetitia Guichard. "Pyrgos is an authentic reflection of Greece—perfect for an artist and photographer."

Guichard’s picture recently appeared in Your Shot's Daily Dozen.

stunning photo... let's hope we don't ruin Pyrgos...

It's a re-touched digital photo. I don't care for softened (noise all out) photography touch-ups. Too fake looking.

I wonder how long the exposure was?  The structure is still very detailed and not overly lit, couldn't have been too long.

Nicely weird houses, that are the foreground to this picture that has mountains, sky and a land filled village to fill it all out. A good shot well taken.  j.e.s.........

Pyrgos (in greek mean tower), in island of Santorini (Thera), it isn't coastal village. It is in the middle of island, the most "mountainous" village.
