What makes this photo special is the inclusion of its beautiful natural habitat! Would love to visit Leh one day

Looks a bit like a Groundhog Day...:)
Nice capture. I love the way you caught him so still in that moment...excellent! :) Thanks for sharing.
This is fantastic! A wonderful little creature amidst some absolutely lovely scenery,... captured perfectly! Wonder what he sees?
Does anybody know what happened to the wallpaper feature? I mean I used to get my wallpapers from here all the time but now I see these great images but there is no way to get a wallpaper...
I know right click as save but that does not do justice to great pictures like this one.
I'm sure like so many others I'd love to do this photo. There is way too much here for me to comment on except to say the overall work is superb; the sky absolutely enchanting; and the marmot - a sight to behold. The photo is so full of light and wonder. Wow and cheers and congrats, congrats, congrats.
thoughtful, looking far at the sun setting for a day the eagle had fish instead
an essential and beautiful environment can make philosophers out of the furriest little beings
what an insane idea living in a city, why staring at this computer when all that matters happens under the sky
A very well deserved exposure for this image, Sebastian! I won't say congrats! I say: It takes a great idea, hard work and a great photographer to produce images like this.
All the best! / Kaj
He looks as though he might be looking for his car in a parking lot. Except, of course, there are no cars...
As I scrolled from the photo's title down through the photo, before I read the explanation, I thought this was a photo from one of the high altitude parks in the Rocky Mountains, perhaps Colorado's North Park. What a surprise to learn this scene was from India! Congratulations on taking this terrific photo!
