A Perfect View

The sun’s rays set flame to Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park’s most recognizable land features: the Mittens, the towering buttes that jut from the park’s desert floor. Though the iconic landscape has come to symbolize the American West immortalized in such classic movies as Stagecoach (1939) and Easy Rider (1969), Monument Valley is the ancestral home of the Navajo people, who still live in the area today.
