Morning Tea

Photograph by Vito Dozio, National Geographic Your Shot

Dawn comes to a tea plantation in Munnar, India, once a favorite summer retreat of British officials. Situated 5,200 feet and more above sea level, the Kerala hill station is awash in the green of its forests, grasslands, and plantations, and offers visitors the charm of discovery—from waterfalls and wildflowers to winding lanes.

Ohhhh.      One of my favorite photos I've seen on Nat. Geo. photos of the day.         So beautiful, magical and makes me want to walk down that road and be there to look around for myself.         I really love this picture and wish it was hanging on my wall so I could see it every day.         Reminds me of Ireland.

Looks like an oil painting, and I don't mean it in a bad way, it's just that the photo is so picturesque!

Beautiful India that definately has the bad and the good, as it is all over the world. Yet somehow our bad and good are different looking , than other places. A lovely picture of Munnar at morning time.  j.e.s.........

Kerala, and Goa are the two of the really green spots back home.

I work with three analysts who immigrated to the US from Kerala. Wow, they left a beautiful place.
