Very interesting shot, I try to exam the picture and try to find out what are the subjects, but I give up maybe I live in a tropical country do not see this in the usual weather condition.  It truly a nice photo.

I loved stepping on this kind of ice when I was little! The pine cone and shapes are amazing in this photo. Perfect photo Pierric!

Thanks to everyone for your kind comments. This is indeed, as was explained, a small water puddle frozen during the night. The incredible blue color and the crazy shapes drew my eye to this particular one. The pine cone was an added bonus. :)

Such a pretty, pristine pine cone.  Our Creator is a particular perfectionist.

As a New Englander, this is a common sight under foot. I just want to see puddles at this time of year

We don't have winter here (where I come from) it's always sunshine with lots of rain thus I needed some time to really figure out what I am seeing. My guess is it's some sheets of thin ice floating in water. I wish Mr Pierric Descamps had added in a little more information for the benefit of people like me.
Nevertheless, it's rather a pretty picture.

@Myra Linara It's a frozen puddle. Where you see the white air bubbles, it is thin ice that crumbles under foot. It's just an air pocket. All ice, no water underneath.

Nice to hear from Myra, it's been a little while since you posted.
