Photograph by Shubhankar Basu, Your Shot

This Month in Photo of the Day: Travel

This image is from Poovar Beach in south India. At dawn the fishermen go and drop their nets and at around 7 a.m. they start pulling them. There are anywhere from 30 to 50 men working at this and the catch is distributed among them.
