Gosh! This is my home town, Ajmer, Rajasthan. As a catchment of the surrounding Aravilli Hills, this lake is a pleasant reprieve in the middle of an often parched desert.
Holiness, the brand of India to be seen in this picture of Puskar ghat where a cow , birds , traditional village girl and boys the serene sky and clear water are part and parcel of .
A lovely photo Giancarlo. Congratulations and with the birds adding the peace and tranquility to the photo.
The lazy cow in the background is the best. After feasting on every corner of the image my gaze lands lazily on the cow :)
Love this picture! Beautiful backdrop of hills, lake and blue sky with birds and the lady adding life to this pic..
It looks like a painting, everything at right place :)
love that photo :)
the blue sky ,the mountain the lady and the children every detail is in the right position and above all the flying birds.great
You must not take pictures in the holy place in India, in all the ghate you can see a sign in english where say that it is not allow take pictures there.
I know that Pushkar lake is in India, but where I'm not sure. The photograph is really good, with a clear day to take it in. The indian woman in her colorful cotten sari is so typical of of what one sees all over the country there, Also the cow taking a rest some distance away, is too a common sight. The houses, hills and flying birds, make for a good clear day picture. j.e.s. p.s. I think those are cocoanuts at her feet........
