Reflection, Reykjavík

Photograph by Dana Clemons

This Month in Photo of the Day: Travel Photos

I was photographing the sunset over Reykjavík Harbor, Iceland, near sunset (around 11:30 p.m.). While sitting there with my tripod waiting, I turned around and saw this beautiful abstract reflection in the windows of the office building behind me.

reflections in photography are always an aspect which I personally appreciate ( and try to play with also in my own snapshots).    the dbl aspect of the image, always speaks to me as a metafore of the complexities and layers that speak of life and situations in general.  That something is almost never that what it appears at first glance...and can have a 1000 nuances.

with this image that has such a beatiful grafic layout, that frames and multiplies the "office world" with that of spectacular beauty of nature...is to me a perfect example.
