Is the brownish coloration in the water just due to sand? Regardless, I think that the photographer who took this picture should win. I really like how zoomed out it is. That is land under the surfer. Thankfully those white crests in front of the surfer are not well defined. If they were the surfer would be heading for a nose plant.
I too am curious, where is the photographer exactly seated?
I have never seen the ocean look like this before. Parts of it look like some kinda land mass, with rivulets flowing down. The left corner foreground could even be snow! But for that one figure that is definately surfing.A wonderful shot caught so well. j.e.s.........
