Beautiful scene! So glad to see my state represented so well :)

So pretty when the sun glints off the frost or off the snow, magical. Looks like a Christmas card. Fascinating photograph! I couldn't help but wonder what creatures were still sleeping in this isolated place.
What an amazing picture. In the foreground the frost cover looking more than than beautiful. But the eye must go to the far distant, as mine did to get the feeling 'of miles to go' many miles to go. Superb photography as always, so thank you. j.e.s.
if this is the photo of the month then I never want to be nominated for it... dislike the framing, the exposure and edit... mediocre in every sense..what a missed opportunity!
i just agree with William Hollyoak!
@hubert van rijsingen Snide remarks will never get you what you want. Wisconsin abounds with natural beauty, and it just so happens that Adam was chosen for best capturing this beauty. Let's see an example of your natural beauty... Sounds like your ability to share in the joy of other people's beauty is mediocre at best.
