Hey, I helped build this and was there during construction. It was complicated, but very interesting. Plenty of good photo ops.
The detail of the flowers is amazing, it's like the train is cutting their light off. Superb and mysterious, this connection between the complexity of the train railway and the simplicity of the Nature is nostalgic.
How wonderful it would be to live there. I love Chicago and city pictures taken from above. It's so amazing to see it from this perspective and kind of dizzying. It looks like the plants in the doorway are bleeding.
Nice going and a great shot from a fellow CPS photographer. Talk to you later.
Sorry for the negative comment, but how come tracks become the "Photo of the day" ? I expected something more stunning.
ULTIMATE SKILL.. OF BOTH ENGINEERS OF TRACK BUILDERS & PHOTOGRAPHERS...
N I M PREYING FOR THE TRAFFIC CONTROLLER!!!!!!!!
@Jack & Debbie Lewis Thank you!
@Larry Schaefer Thanks Larry!
@Rabindra Saha Thank you so much! I shot this from the top of the parking garage above this 'L' intersection and held my camera out as far as I could to get this shot. It was a bit of gamble whether I was going to get something worthwhile or not.
