The photo is very nice but there are very similar houses... I can image the houses are in photo looks like a model Lego playing.

Agree with comments down bellow. Like a Lego land or a set from Truman's show film. Makes an interesting photo but wouldn't like to live there. . .  :-)

Sometimes truth IS stranger than fiction. In this case, there are many "tells" that this picture is NOT of a physical community but a conceptual rendering. The best example of this fact is the gray (concrete) wall interrupting the street passage. Would you buy the unit the security wall connects to? And a door rather than a gate in the wall, 3 or 4 feet wide? Really?   ---  But hey, if he got this shot with a remote camera on a model helicopter, we should be even more impressed!

This photo intrigues me.. I love the photo... but I doubt if I would like to live in such an estate.. what is really obvious that it is new.. the lack of trees.. and garden shrubs..  but the whole pic is interesting..

oh no thanks its like the Architects suffer from OCD its the same here in Ireland rows of council houses once described by my mothers grandfather as to having a likeness to army barracks . I  think private estates of houses look like a set from stepford wifes and everyone gets the same blinds curtains similar furnishing for the inside its scarey at times Although I and my family live in a council area some like myself do our own thing with the house and thank God there are still some non robots people have become like drones ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh !!!!!!!!!!

This is amazing, I never once tried looking down on Earth as I also have not ridden an aircraft of some sort. This is spectacular.

Yes, it's disturbing how long it takes humans to open their eyes and say things like, "Hey, maybe a population of two hundred deer isn't a healthy number... Maybe we should help them out a little."

What season was this? When I was in South Africa during their winter it was hardly ever so foggy. Phenomenal shot, makes me wish I'd gotten lost on my way to the orphanages one day!

This does not appear to be a photo - a computer rendering perhaps.

@Pat Ryan I thought the same.. and I stared for ages, looking for a  lego person.. but the cars in the street made it real for me.. and the rough patches on the lawns.. lol

@Kenneth Kraft I agree totally! This is an architect's rendering of a community concept. This may be a picture of that rendering, whether computer or artist derived. -- All said, however, this is good work, and represents a wave of interest in small, or tiny, house designs. Most people would want more choices than appear to be represented here, but a developer might want to press his concept for the purpose of maximizing profit. The shaft would be useful for light, ventilation, and perhaps observation landings.      Ken Ojala
